Why hunt a shiny?
The shiny hunt simulates the oldest gamble in Pokémon: encounter after encounter, waiting for the sparkle. Pick a difficulty, click through the wild pool, and see how deep the hunt goes — the pity rules keep it honest but never easy.
Ways to play
Luck test
Start a hunt and see how many encounters your shiny takes — under odds and you're hot, over odds and the pool owes you one.
Race a friend
Share the hunt seed and race to the reveal — fewest encounters wins, and the link proves it.
Patience training
Use Extreme difficulty as meditation: hundreds of clicks, one sparkle, no shortcuts.
Stream segment
A live shiny race is ready-made content — chat picks the difficulty, you provide the despair.
Set your rules before you roll
Difficulty is the whole game here: Easy guarantees a pity draw so a first hunt always finishes; higher tiers make you earn it.

What are the shiny odds?
Normal, Hard and Extreme modes use the same 1-in-4096 rate as the mainline games. Easy mode raises it to 1-in-204 per click.

A friendlier hunt: 1-in-204 odds per Encounter, and your shiny is guaranteed to appear within 204 draws — no endless dry streaks.
What happens when I find a shiny?
The found card unlocks Share and Download. The shared link opens straight on your found shiny, and the downloaded card image carries a QR code friends can scan to start their own hunt.
