Why roll a random BST?
Base Stat Total is the shorthand every player uses and nobody agrees on. Roll a number, meet the Pokémon behind it, and learn what a 480 or a 600 really looks like in the wild.

BST is a budget, not a ranking: a well-spent 480 beats a lazy 540, so judge the spread before the total.
For cap challenges, set the cap before rolling the team — rolling first and negotiating later is how caps become meaningless.

FAQ
What is BST?
BST (Base Stat Total) is the sum of a Pokémon's six base stats — HP, Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def and Speed. It's a rough measure of how strong a species is on paper.
What range can I roll?
The whole dex is in the pool — from low-BST early-route Pokémon under 300 up to box-art legends and Mega forms pushing past 600.
Can I filter by BST range?
Not on this page — the roll covers everything. It pairs well with the Team Builder: roll, check the stats, then decide if the pull fits your squad.
Why does BST matter?
It's the fastest shorthand for power. A 600-BST pull is a serious battler; a 250-BST pull is a challenge-run pick. The dice decide which kind of run you're having.
